ki khabor? (What's the news?)

• HORRAY!! We received our first package today (thanks, Weavers!!) which was like a ray of sunshine to brighten up a dark day! (this is me on the way home from the post office by way of Coffee World with said package. I'm still in remedial blog posting mode and couldn't figure out how to get a generic package picture off the web....so here's the beauty of Photo Booth on my mac! note the smile!)

• Tonight Brent and I will have a dinner date while a couple (from Michigan) who is staying at our guest house will watch the girls. The girls both jumped up and down when I told them that we were going out and Paul and Carrie would be their babysitters tonight. (yes, everything you could imply from that is probably true!)

• The above two gems could not have come on a better day--one that literally started bad before I even got out of bed. (nothing big but lots of little things that add up. more on that later)......

but for now, I get to go home and be the bearer of the package and the lucky woman headed out for a sweet date!
