The joy of rain..
So we just finished having one of the sweetest thunderstorms we've had yet here. We've only had 2 or 3 others to compare to and I guess what made this one the sweetest was that it dropped the temp down into the 70's when it was about 105 earlier today with an accuweather.com realFeel of somewhere around 118 degrees (and it's been that way for the last week or so with the worst day being yesterday with the RealFeel of 128F). It was sweet to play out on our balcony with the girls and we actually felt even a bit chilly getting wet from the rain and with strong gusts blowing. It also had the nice effect of cooling off the water in the tank on the roof so that the evening shower was actually cold, what a treat and a true grace from above. Looking forward to more storms in the forecast for the rest of the week.

What a different take on that substance than we are experiencing here. We smell of mold more than sweat, feel more damp than hot, and miss the sun more than the cool. But we can still be happy for you!
I agree with Kristi. What a different perspective we've had lately. The rain is starting to get depressing. But, if it were as hot here, we'd probably be out dancing in the rain!!
