We got a chance to see our first, and maybe last, solar eclipse this morning from our balcony and rooftop. It was expected to be rainy and very cloudy so what we got to see was a blessing. In fact I think the cloudiness made it possible to see a bit more, because when they parted it was really too bright to look at. (our eyes are still hurting 3 hours after...)
